Symphonious Odyssey - The concert for COS MMU melaka year 08/09~

Symphonious Odyssey is the second concert of the Chinese Orchestra Society since its establishment. This concert features Chinese orchestra compositions, which includes ensemble performances, solo performances, choir performances and so on. Compositions that will be presented include Chinese, English and Malay songs.
Remember “Permata Dunia”, the beautiful song which touched all our hearts? Then, be prepared for the excitement. Chinese Orchestra Society is bringing you this very lovely tune which we all love so much – and yes, using Chinese Orchestra instruments.
Apart from that, we will bring you an array of famous world tunes, among them including the original “Do Re Mi” from The Sound of Music.
Another special feature of this concert is the inclusion of special percussion instruments that you do not get to see in normal Chinese Orchestra performances. It is really a not to be missed opportunity as we do not always feature such special instruments and songs in our normal performances.
The normal ticket price is RM20. but we’re offering a special price of RM10 (that’s 50%!) to students.
Better news for members of MMUCOS, you will be given a further discount – tickets are available to you at RM8.(Available for sales during concert night)
